Amy's Quilt Festival

Amy's at it again!  She's hosting another online quilt show.  If you're interested in seeing some pretty quilts, be sure to check her blog out and even join the rest of us at her Spring Quilt Festival. Just click on the Quilt Festival icon on the sidebar and you'll bounce right over to Amy's Creative Side for the fun.

I couldn't decide which quilt to show but since it is Spring, I'll share this bright little lap quilt.  I'm not sure if I've even posted a photo of this one before but it was made mainly to practice my machine quilting skills and to experiment with the disappearing nine-patch pattern.

Thanks for checking out my entry to Amy's Creative Side's Spring Quilt Festival!

It's beautiful. I love disappearing 9-patch quilts. They always turn out so pretty and it looks as though someone spent lots of time cutting out each little square.

I'm glad you checked my blog last night to see about the quilt show!

What a great spring quilt. I think I'm the only one who hasn't made a disappearing 9 patch yet.
I am going to work on a 9 patch variation this weekend though-if I can break away from the computer.

Very pretty quilt that does remind one of spring. It is a fun pattern isn't it? I have made a couple of disappearing 9 patch quilts and it is always interesting to see how they work out.
Hope you are having a fun time at the festival.

love disappearing 9 patch--used it on my son in laws comfy quilt top, and two teeny dolly quilts that were sewn into a corner of my twin granddaughter's quilts so they could put their kimi dolls in them. you've done a great job--lovely colors.
